Cisse concern at Black Cats form

Cisse is concerned at the Black Cats current form

Sunderland striker Djibril Cisse admits he is concerned by the teams form which has seen them fail to win since the start of February.

The Black Cats crashed 2-1 at home to Wigan on Saturday to leave them 14th in the Premier League - just three points above the relegation zone.

Cisse told BBC Radio Newcastle: "It's not an easy situation for everybody.

"The fans are getting frustrated, the players are and the boss is a bit angry so it's a situation we need to change."

He added: "I can't be happy with a situation like this."

Cisse also admits that his on-field relationship with fellow striker Kenwyne Jones is not as it should be.

He said: "It's not really effective, but there are two solutions - we give up or we start trying to play together and start scoring goals and winning points.

"We're not the same kind of player, Kenwyne is more physical than me and more of a target man.

"Everything's there - he's a quality player, I'm a quality player but we have to start showing that now as we don't have much time."
