Sunderland boss Roy Keane has said he expects to see some transfer activity at the Stadium of Light during the next couple of weeks.
Keane has hinted that some of his squad will be allowed to leave the club but is also confident that he can complete some incoming business.
"There could be one or two departures but the priority is to bring people in," he told BBC Radio Newcastle.
"There could be one or two transfers that happen anyway."
The Wearsiders have been heavily linked with moves for Tottenham full-back Pascal Chimbonda and midfielder Teemu Tainio, with the French defender going public in his admiration for boss Roy Keane.
