Sunderland have completed the £1.7m signing of Sweden midfield man Tobias Hysen from Djurgarden.
Hysen's father Glenn played for Sweden and Liverpool
The 24-year-old has clinched a three-year deal to become the Black Cats' seventh signing of the summer.
The son of former Liverpool defender and Sweden captain Glenn Hysen, he said: "I've always dreamed of playing in England."
Sunderland boss and chairman Niall Quinn said: "He's a good young prospect and an international player."
Hysen added: "My father knows all about Sunderland and the passion of the supporters here, so I'm looking forward to playing for the club."
Quinn said: "There were a number of top clubs interested in him so we are delighted he has chosen us."
