Sunderland have completed the £100,000 signing of highly-rated Irish striker
Daryl Murphy from Waterford.
The 22-year-old has signed a two-year deal after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms
Sunderland manager Mick McCarthy said: "Daryl is a target man, a big, powerful striker and I am looking forward to
seeing him here at Sunderland.
"We believe he has a bright future and I am delighted we have been able to bring him to Sunderland."
