Downing's roots are in Boro

Sunderland have signed Middlesbrough's Stewart Downing on a month's loan.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who has made three appearances for the Teessiders this season, could make his debut in the Division One clash with West Brom at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
Sunderland boss Mick McCarthy has been looking for a left-sided player ever since Kevin Kilbane's move to Everton.
"He's a natural wide left player and he has got exceptional pace," said McCarthy.
"He's a very talented young boy and he's got a great left foot.
"We are excited and delighted at the prospect of him playing for us to be quite honest," he told BBC Radio Newcastle.
