Sunderland keeper Thomas Sorensen believes the club will have to lower their asking price if they want to sell him.
The Denmark international is one of Sunderland's more high-profile players and has been linked with a move to Aston Villa.
But cash-strapped Sunderland are understood to want £3m for the 27-year-old stopper, who moved to the Stadium of Light for £500,000 in July 1998 from Odense.
"I am assuming I am still going to be sold and it's just a matter of bringing down the price tag to a level other clubs will be interested in," said Sorensen.
Goals from John Oster, Jody Craddock, Michael Proctor and winger Kevin Kilbane earned Mick McCarthy's men a 4-0 win over Durham in a friendly on Saturday.
