Stranraer take forward McManus

Stranraer have signed 19-year-old former Stenhousemuir centre-forward Scott McManus.

McManus spent time at Crewe Alexander but failed to make his mark with the League Two side.

He impressed manager Keith Knox by scoring as a trialist for Stranraer reserves in their match against East Stirlingshire on Tuesday.

"Scott has played the three games allowed as a trialist and I have seen enough to bring him in," said Knox.

McManus becomes Stranraer's second signing of the week after the capture of former Clyde defender Romauld Bouadji.
