Tony Pulis' side are unbeaten in five home league games
Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has asked his side to be more clinical after missing chances to take all three points from their 1-1 draw with Hull.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "We've had enough possession in their final third, we just needed a bit more quality.
"There were times when balls could have dropped for us but they didn't. That's the way it goes sometimes.
"We're happy we didn't lose having gone a goal down, but when we got the goal I honestly thought we would win it."
Stoke's next fixture is on Tuesday, in the quarter-final of the Carling Cup against Championship side Derby County at the Britannia Stadium.
Pulis has made numerous changes to his team in earlier rounds of the competition, but with a place in the last four at stake he insists he will play a full-strength side.
"We're desperate to win this game and get into the semi-finals. it would be a fantastic achievement," he said.
"We'll be going for the win and my side will reflect that."
