Stoke have signed Manchester United youngster Ryan Shawcross on loan.
Defender Shawcross, 19, who has joined on a six-month loan deal, is Stoke boss Tony Pulis' fourth summer signing.
Shawcross could play against Cardiff on Saturday and follows Richard Cresswell, Stephen Wright and Jon Parkin in moving to Stoke this summer.
Shawcross made his United debut in their Carling Cup win at Crewe last season, before then moving to Belgium club Royal Antwerp on loan.
Earlier Stoke saw defender Carl Hoefkens move to West Brom for £750,000 on a two-year deal with the Baggies having the option of an additional year.
