Teenage midfielder Adam Vaas became Stoke's youngest ever full international when he played for Hungary against Canada on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old played the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 friendly win.
But Vass, who was recently given a professional contract until the end of the season, has not yet played in the Stoke first team.
Boss Tony Pulis said: "It's a fantastic achievement and good for the club. It was a nice surprise he got called up."
