Stoke have completed the signing of Belgium international defender Carl Hoefkens from Germinal Beerschot.
The 26-year-old passed a medical on Monday to become manager Johan Boskamp's second signing in two days.
Hoefkens, who has signed a two-year deal at the Britannia Stadium, has been capped four times by Belgium.
Meanwhile, former Watford striker Bruce Dyer, 30, has joined the Potters on trial and could play in Tuesday's friendly match against Stockport.
