Stoke boss Johan Boskamp is to meet chairman Gunnar Gislason on Monday to discuss his future at the club.
Boskamp was appointed in June 2005
Boskamp has fallen out with director of football John Rudge and his assistant Jan de Koning and had threatened to walk out unless they were sacked.
Rudge and de Koning were sent home for a week to try and calm the situation.
Boskamp said: "I've a meeting with the chairman to discuss what's happening. I don't want to go because I feel we're building something good here."
Boskamp added: "I don't want to lose that, but we will see after the meeting."
Stoke appointed Boskamp in June 2005 in place of the sacked Tony Pulis.
