Stoke City have completed the signing of former Holland and Chelsea
goalkeeper Ed de Goey.
The 36-year-old - who won 31 caps for his country - played over 100 games in
the Premiership for the Blues during a six-year stay at Stamford Bridge.
De Goey, who has also had spells with Sparta Rotterdam and Feyenoord, has
signed a two-year contract at the Britannia Stadium.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I just want to play first team football and Stoke have pursued their interest in me which in the end made the decision for me."
He is the Potters' fourth major signing of the summer following the arrivals
of Gifton Noel-Williams, Clint Hill and John Eustace.
