Myhill joins Stoke
Stoke City have signed Aston Villa goalkeeper Boaz Myhill on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old former England youth international replaces Michael Ingham, who has returned to Sunderland after a month at the Britannia Stadium.

Myhill will provide back-up for current first-choice Neil Cutler, with Gavin Ward still sidelined through injury.

"With Gavin Ward still some way off returning we needed to bring in cover and Boaz fits the bill," City's director of football John Rudge told the club's web-site.

"He is young, but he has been on the bench for Villa in the Premiership and he is very highly thought of.

"He has also been part of the England youth set-up and has had the best possible grounding. Villa consider him a star for the future."
