Stockport County have signed Leyton Orient defender Aaron Brown on loan, initially on a one-month deal.

The 6ft 5in centre-back, who signed for Orient last summer from Aldershot Town, started his career at Tamworth.

The 27-year-old then moved to Reading in November 2005, having loan spells at Bournemouth and Walsall before moving on to Yeovil in August 2008.

He then signed for Aldershot in March 2010 before then moving on to Brisbane Road during the summer.

Brown played for the Shots in both legs of their play-off semi-final defeat by Rotherham United in May.
