Ablett is hoping for improvement

Stockport boss Gary Ablett has faith in his young squad despite their weekend defeat by Southend.

The 2-0 home loss ended County's four-match unbeaten run and left them one place above the League One drop zone.

He told BBC Radio Manchester: "I've said to the players the good thing is there's always another game in which we can improve.

"We've just got to keep going. There's no other way other than work on the training ground and try to get better."
