Stevenage Borough skipper Steve Morison is to join Millwall after the 25-year-old striker agreed personal terms.

Millwall will pay £130,000 for the Blue Square Premier club's top-scorer this season. His 31 goals included one in Saturday's FA Trophy final triumph.

The striker also scored the winner in the club's 2007 FA Trophy triumph.

London-born Morison began his career as a trainee at Northampton, arriving at Stevenage in August 2006 after a spell at Bishop's Stortford.

He has previously attracted interest from League clubs, including Crewe Alexandra.

Morison is now likely to watch his new team-mates from the stands as the Lions turn out at Wembley for the League One play-off final a week on Sunday.
