Let's enjoy home games - Westley

Stevenage Borough

Stevenage Borough boss Graham Westley wants his team to enjoy playing at home ahead of Saturday's Blue Square Premier clash with Burton Albion.

Borough are yet to win at Broadhall Way after three attempts.

"It's a great opportunity to enjoy yourself playing in front of a crowd like that," Westley told BBC Three Counties Radio.

"If I was a player at this football club right now, I would be relishing the opportunity of playing at home."

Stevenage secured their first win of the season at Barrow last Saturday, but then lost 1-0 at Kettering on Tuesday.

"The fans have been brilliant at Barrow and Kettering in the last two away games," Westley added.

"On Tuesday night they were driving the players on, trying to get an equaliser.

"We have a lot to offer. We are evolving as a side, and I think it is only a matter of time before we get into consistent winning ways."
