Stevenage have offered manager Mark Stimson and assistant Scott Barrett new contracts, amid continuing speculation linking the pair with Gillingham.
Stimson recently revealed that Borough chairman Phil Wallace had refused both Gillingham and Port Vale permission to speak to him.
"I met Mark and Scott last Thursday and presented a package. So far I've had no response," Wallace told Boro's website.
"The club's position is clear - we want them to stay."
He added: "I've not had any contact from Gillingham or anyone since I left the UK at the end of last week.
"Nor have I heard anything from Mark's agents, even though I was told they were negotiating with Gillingham last week. What this means I simply don't know."
Stimson and Barrett moved to Stevenage from Grays in May 2006, and signed new contracts earlier this year after guiding Borough to victory in the FA Trophy final.
