Opara opts for Stevenage
Stevenage Borough have signed former Colchester United striker Lloyd Opara.

The 19-year-old made six appearances as a substitute for the U's this season before being released.

Opara linked up with Cambridge United, who were interested in taking on the final year of his scholarship.

However, the teenager has instead signed for Stevenage with caretaker-boss John Dreyer keen to add to his strikeforce to boost Boro's relegation fight.
