Coughlin rewarded for Stenny form

Coughlin's side were in impressive form during September

Stenhousemuir manager John Coughlin has been named Division Three manager of the month for September.

Coughlin received his Irn Bru award after the Larbert outfit extended their lead at the top with three victories during the month.

Stenny recorded away wins over East Stirlingshire and Albion Rovers, plus a home victory over Berwick Rangers.

However, two of the wins came on Stenny's own Ochilview Park, which is being shared with neighbours Shire.

Coughlin's side were held 1-1 at home by Forfar Athletic in their first October fixture.

Stenny now lead Division Three by five points from Dumbarton, Montrose and Cowdenbeath.
