Slovenian left-back Jure Travner has made his stay at St Mirren permanent after being released by Watford.

Travner was on loan with the Paisley club in the first half of the season.

"We have taken him on until the end of the season, which now makes him officially a St Mirren player," manager Danny Lennon told the club website.

"He is a player I would like to keep here on a longer basis so I hope sooner rather than later we can sit down and talk about it."

The 25-year-old has been a regular in Lennon's side this season and has scored once in the campaign so far.

"Jure is very settled where he is, we've had a chat with him but until we know our position the deal for now is until the end of the season," added Lennon.
