Former Notts County striker Tcham N'Toya is hoping his goal against Rangers' reserves will help him win a contract with St Mirren.
Tcham N'Toya scored in a 3-1 win over Rangers' reserves
The 23-year-old grabbed the third goal for the Buddies' second string in their 3-1 win over the Ibrox side on Tuesday.
N'Toya started his career at Troyes but moved to Chesterfield in 2004, going on to score eight times in 28 appearances.
He had loan spells with York City and Oxford United before joining Notts County but was released after a season.
N'Toya, born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, scored just once in 21 appearances for the League Two outfit.
Joe O'Cearuill, the 19-year-old Republic of Ireland defender released by Arsenal at the end of season, was also in the St Mirren reserve side that defeated their Rangers' counterparts.
He had been given another week to convince Buddies manager Gus MacPherson he is worth a contract.
