MacPherson said his side lacked belief against Celtic

St Mirren boss Gus MacPherson said his side lacked belief after equalising in the 5-1 defeat by Celtic.
"Even in the first half we worked the ball into good areas, but we maybe lacked that belief," MacPherson said.
"We played some really good stuff for a spell and looked as though we'd cause them problems.
"Once they got the second and third goals they wanted the ball all the time. For the penalty - it could go into the soft category."
MacPherson added: "It's always going to be awkward when teams like Celtic, with the quality of players they have, are handed a two-goal cushion.
"The players are then all looking for the ball. The movement up front was exceptional and their finishing was clinical."
