MacPherson will now look ahead to the rest of the SPLcampaign

St Mirren manager Gus MacPherson praised his players despite going out of the Scottish Cup in dramatic fashion, losing 3-2 at Dundee United.
Goals from Richard Brittain and John Sutton revived Saints only for David Robertson to win the contest with the last kick of the game.
MacPherson said: "It was an outstanding fightback from us after a poor first half when we let United dominate.
"Other teams wouldn't have reacted so well, but we had no luck in the end."
