Southport have appointed Paul Cook as their new manager.
Cook is Southport's first full-time manager since 1978
Cook leaves his position as first-team coach at Accrington Stanley to take on his first managerial job with the Conference club.
The 39-year-old former Burnley and Wolves midfielder replaces Liam Watson, who stood down last month following Port's switch to full-time status.
Cook is Southport's first full-time manager since the club dropped out of the Football League in 1978.
