Tilson's team have lost only one game in the last 10 matches
Southend manager Steve Tilson says the 3-3 draw in Saturday's Essex derby with Colchester was a fair result.
The Shrimpers levelled the score with an injury-time header from Jean-Francois Christophe.
Tilson told BBC Essex: "It was an entertaining game and on balance a fair result. We had a bit of luck and played to the final whistle.
"I'm pleased we got the point, but I'm disappointed that from two goals up, the way we played lost that advantage."
Southend sit ninth in League One with Saturday's draw continuing a good run including victory over second-placed Leeds. The South Essex club have only lost once in their last 10 matches.
