Tilson's knows Friday's game will be a winner-takes-all affair
Boss Steve Tilson believes Southend's fans can help their side to progress into the League One play-off final.
Following a 0-0 draw at home to Doncaster in the first leg of their semi-final, Tilson said the supporters could prove crucial in the return game.
"It'd be great if we could get a good following - that would make a massive difference for us," he told BBC Essex.
"I would love to sell our end out because it plays a major part in us getting through."
Whilst the south Yorkshire side hold a slight advantage heading into Friday's decider, Tilson remained confident of making it through to the Wembley final.
He added: "They'll feel that they are favourites to go through now, and being at home they probably will be.
"But we've got good away form of late and we've just got to produce the goods - it's a one-off game now and we still feel we're certainly in the tie."
