Broughton poised for Rushden move
Southend striker Drewe Broughton looks set to join Rushden and Diamonds in a one-month loan deal.

Broughton has struggled since joining from Kidderminster in June, 2003 and has not been a regular in this term.

The 25-year-old former Peterborough frontman is hoping a switch to Nene Park will give him first-team football.

Rushden boss Ernie Tippett has already signed Wolves striker Gary Mulligan on loan in a bid to improve a return of just eight goal from 12 league games.
