Pettefer has played 13 times for Southend this season

Southend will complete the permanent signing of on-loan Portsmouth midfielder Carl Pettefer this weekend, reports BBC Essex.
The 23-year-old has been with the Shrimpers since February.
"Carl is one who I think could go all the way," said Southend boss Steve Tilson. "We've been speaking to Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp.
"He's happy to tear up the last year of Carl's contract and he'll sign a two-year deal with us on Saturday."
