Southampton striker Ricky Lambert is determined to top the Football League goal-scoring charts again this season.
Saints' top marksman took his tally to 11 in all competitions with two goals at Leyton Orient on Saturday.
He scored 29 times for Bristol Rovers last season to finish as the Football League's joint top-scorer with Swindon's Simon Cox.
He told BBC Radio Solent: "I'm going to try as hard as I can. I feel like I can score in every game at the moment."
The 27-year-old moved to Southampton in August for a fee of more than £1 million.
"It'll be very hard, 29 goals is a lot of goals," he said.
"I'm not saying it will be easy but if I get near it, I'll be happy. As long as the team keep playing the way they are I'm going to get chances and that suits me."
Lambert returns to his former club on Friday as Saints face Rovers in the FA Cup.
Two seasons ago he scored a late winner for Rovers as they put Saints out of the competition in the fifth round.
