Southampton's former England left-back Graeme Le Saux has announced his retirement from the game.
The 36-year-old was part of the side relegated from the Premiership, and has now decided to hang up his boots.
Le Saux, who won 36 caps and works for the BBC as a pundit, is expected to continue his career in the media.
He has had a series of injury problems this season and revealed: "I decided at the beginning of the season that this would probably be my last."
Le Saux added: "I would much rather have retired seeing Southampton stay in the Premiership, but it was just not meant to be.
"Having constant and intensive treatment ahead of every game, my body knows how hard I've tried this season."
