Southampton manager Harry Redknapp has rubbished press reports claiming that he will quit the club in the summer.
"I don't know where this story has come from but it is absolute rubbish. We are only thinking about staying up," he told the club website.
"I have another year left on my contract - I signed an 18-month deal and my situation has not changed.
"Staying up is the only thought on my mind. Then we'll sit down at the end of the season and see what is to be done."
The former Bournemouth, West Ham and Portsmouth boss added: "I have not looked beyond the end of the season.
"If we stay up, I'll be here next year. If we go down, there is a big job to be done but we have a terrific youth system."
