Redknapp bemoans crucial decision
REDKNAPP'S VIEW
Harry Redknapp
Southampton boss Harry Redknapp was unhappy with the referee for failing to spot a foul in the build up to Fulham's third goal in the 3-3 draw.

Luis Boa Morte clashed with Jamie Redknapp and Fulham broke for Tomasz Radzinski to fire them ahead.

Redknapp said: "It was a foul - it was a blatant foul and if the referee can't see it I don't know.

"I'm not saying we deserved three points but at home you've got to be looking for the three points."

He added: "I couldn't fault the effort the players put in. We kept going and when you score three goals you hope to win.

"One point is better than none. You've got to take what you get, it's going to be a tough struggle but I think we'll be OK.

"It's going to be a very low total. It won't be 40 points - we'll keep going and see how we go."

Meanwhile, Redknapp said he is still looking to bring new players to the club before the transfer window closes at the end of January.

"In an ideal world I'd like to get three more players in," he said.

"This team has won only seven games since Christmas 2003 and we need new faces.

"Yet I'm still confident we'll get out of trouble. We are showing a bit of spirit even though some players need an injection of confidence."
