Southampton chairman Rupert Lowe
Chairman Rupert Lowe has high expectations of Jones
Southampton's new teenage Trinidadian midfielder Kenwyne Jones has revealed he turned down offers from Rangers and West Ham to sign for the Saints.

He had trials with all three clubs but told the Saints website that he was confident he had made the right choice.

"Rangers and West Ham wanted me but Southampton feels like home," he said.

"It is a good club and a nice place to live. My girlfriend and son have come with me and they're delighted with living here."
