Holden and Bradshaw set to miss Shrewsbury's Devon tour

Shrewsbury Town defender Dean Holden and striker Tom Bradshaw have picked up thigh strains and look set to miss the club's tour to Devon.

Town are taking part in the South West Challenge Cup against the likes of Blackpool and Kilmarnock.

"We're keeping them out of training at the moment," manager Graham Turner told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"I'm told by the physio that it doesn't look likely they'll make the Devon trip next week."

But he added more optimistically: "These are the only two players who are causing us any concern."

And Turner revealed better news about striker Kris Bright, who is recovering from a shoulder injury.

"Kris has joined in training," he said. "The other players were warned about physical contact with him. But he's making very good progress."

Turner said he was also hopeful of completing the signing of a winger in the next few days.
