Shrews wait on further signings

Simpson had hoped to make a new signing by the end of the week

Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Simpson said his hopes of making another signing by the end of the week look slim.

He told BBC Radio Shropshire: "Nothing is happening at the moment, unless there's a dramatic turn around.

"But, after the signings we've made this week, I can't be disappointed," Simpson added.

Town are still considering their options after Rotherham accepted their bid for Graham Coughlan. The club say things have dragged on.
