The book celebrates Shrewsbury Town's famous old ground

Shropshire photographer and lifelong Shrewsbury Town fan Matt Ashton is celebrating a prestigious prize at the 2008 Sports Book Awards.
His 'Goodbye Gay Meadow' publication won the category of Best Illustrated Title at a ceremony at the Cafe Royal in London.
"It was a huge shock," Ashton told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"We were up against big publishing houses, but won with a book basically put together in a back bedroom."
Ashton plundered his own catalogue of many hundreds of Gay Meadow pictures, as well as delving into local archives.
He also interlaced the pictures with personal memories submitted by Shrewsbury supporters, as the football club prepared to move to its new stadium.
"We put in a lot of minute attention to every single page," Ashton added, "and I think the combination with the emotions expressed by fans impressed the judges."
