New Luton Town signing Dave Edwards admits he found it difficult to leave Shrewsbury after 11 years at the club.
The 21-year-old Wales Under-21 came through the Shrews' youth ranks and played 137 first-team games.
He told the Shrews' website: "It is sad to leave Shrewsbury but it is something I felt I had to do at this point of my career and I am happy to join Luton."
"Luton are a young team and are very ambitious. They have a new board and everything is falling into place."
