Shrewsbury Town boss Gary Peters says he has not yet decided whether to sign winger Danny Thomas permanently.
Thomas, 25, who is on non-contract terms at Gay Meadow, made his home debut in Saturday's win over Hereford.
Peters told the Shrews website: "He has been training with us on a voluntary basis. He likes the place and wants to prove he is good enough to be here.
"We have to take into account that the January transfer window is coming up as we cannot do anything until then."
Peters added: "Saturday, at home and in the first team was the first time a lot of people will have seen him.
"People saw him at Cheltenham and were impressed and against Hereford he came on and played a really important part in the game."
