Shrewsbury Town boss Gary Peters has signed former Blackburn Rovers youngster Luke Jones.
The 19-year-old, who was released by Blackburn in the summer, has agreed a deal until the end of the season after impressing for the Shrews reserves.
Manager Gary Peters told Shrewsbury's website: "It's his job to prove to us that he's good enough to be a first-team player next season.
"We've already got a good feeling for Luke in the time he's been here."
Peters added: "He's not a player that instantly stands out but he does everything right."
