Shrewsbury Town are on the trail of prolific non-league striker Jody Banim.
Quinn has reportedly made an offer for Banim
The 25-year-old scored in 14 consecutive matches for UniBond League side Radcliffe Borough.
His remarkable run came to an end last week after scoring 18 goals in a near two-month purple patch.
Shrews boss Jimmy Quinn has reportedly had one offer for Banim rejected but is expected to make another offer the former Manchester United youth.
Radcliffe chairman Bernard Manning junior said: "Shrewsbury have been very professional about Jody but we have our valuation of the player and we are sticking to it.
"Jody is very important to us and I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't enable the club and the supporters to benefit by selling one of its assets too cheaply," Manning told the Daily Telegraph.
