Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine admits his future remains uncertain after his side's 2-2 home draw with struggling Yeovil.

The Owls twice came from behind to earn a point against nine-man Yeovil through Gary Madine in the first half and Reda Johnson with four minutes to go.

Irvine told BBC Radio Sheffield: "It is not my decision, it is not something which is within my control.

"I'll wait and see what developments there are, if any."

Sheffield Wednesday chairman Milan Mandaric has publicly backed Irvine to stay on as manager.

"It gives me some comfort and I would love to continue, but it is not my decision," Irvine added.

The Owls have not won in League One since their 6-2 victory over Bristol Rovers on 11 December and are currently 10th in the table, four points adrift of the play-offs.
