Slusarski (left) has joined the Owls for a second spell, with Burton leaving
Sheffield Wednesday have completed the signing of West Brom striker Bartosz Slusarski on a month's loan, with Deon Burton leaving to join Charlton.
Jamaica international Burton, 32, has joined the Addicks on loan with a view to a permanent move in January.
Poland international Slusarksi, 26, spent a month with the Owls last season, scoring once in seven games.
The deal to bring him back to Hillsborough is also with a view to a permanent transfer.
That would bring to an end Slusarski's Hawthorns nightmare, with the forward making only one appearance in more than a year since joining the Baggies from Groclin Dyskobolia.
Owls manager Brian Laws told BBC Radio Sheffield: "Deon Burton has been a fantastic servant to the club but even he would admit that he hasn't had a great season.
"I wasn't in a position to offer him a new contract and I didn't want it to get to the end of the season and leave him without a club.
"Charlton came in for him and it's a great opportunity for him.
"Bartosz did well for us when he was on loan last season. He's at a good age and I still believe the best is yet to come from him."
