Sheffield United academy director John Pemberton says beating Manchester United to win the FA Youth Cup would be a "massive achievement" for the club.

The Blades, whose first team were relegated to League One this season, have sold over 6,000 tickets for Monday's second leg at Old Trafford.

The two teams drew 2-2 in front of nearly 30,000 fans at Bramall Lane in the first leg on Tuesday.

Pemberton told BBC Radio Sheffield: "It would give this club a massive lift."

Defender Harry Maguire is expected to be fit for the game after picking up an ankle injury in the first leg.

"He's got a chance, we had him scanned after the game and it's not a massive problem," said Pemberton.

He is hoping to lift his first piece of silverware against the team that denied him a winners' medal during his time as a player.

Pemberton was part of the Crystal Palace team that lost to Manchester United in the 1990 FA Cup final: "It would be ironic if I could get my hands on the FA Youth Cup against Manchester United."
