The Football Association has charged Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell for his comments after the 1-0 defeat by Nottingham Forest on 16 February.

He criticised referee Nigel Miller after striker Darius Henderson was sent off for an alleged elbow on Forest winger Paul Anderson.

After the game Blackwell, who was upset about a number of decisions, said Miller had "lost" control of the game.

Blackwell has until 12 March to respond to the charges.

Meanwhile, Derby defender Jay McEveley has admitted a charge of improper conduct following an incident in the Rams' game at Swansea last week.

McEveley was sent off in the ill-tempered match for a second yellow card.

He has been fined £2,500 and warned about his future conduct.
