Robertson makes Sheff Utd return

Robertson was on target four times for Dundee United

Sheffield United have recalled striker Jordan Robertson from his loan spell at Dundee United.

The 19-year-old moved to Tannadice in August and netted four goals 18 appearances for the Scottish Premier League side.

The clubs had agreed a season-long loan but the deal included an option to take him back to Bramall Lane prematurely.

With Tannadice manager Craig Levein already searching for a new forward, Robertson's departure will be a blow.

"He's done well for us and I'd like to thank him for his efforts," said Levein.

"He's a good lad and I wish him all the best, hopefully he'll be able to break into their team.

"I'm already looking for a striker so it has taken on even more importance now but we'll just get on with it."
