Scunthorpe United have signed Manchester City midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old, who was born in Somalia but is a Norway Under-21 international, was part of City's FA Youth Cup-winning side in 2008.
"I've come here to get experience, to help this club and to do job a for them," he told BBC Radio Humberside.
"I made my [Man City] debut against Scunthorpe this time last year and it was a memorable day for me."
Ibrahim signed terms as a professional in 2007 and has since made three appearances.
"People compare me to [Patrick Vieira] but he has done a lot and I want to be like him. He's a fantastic player and my favourite player of all time.
"I'm a box-to-box player, quite strong with technique and hopefully the club will see it."
Ibrahim goes straight into the Scunthorpe squad for Saturday's trip to Leeds.
