Scunthorpe United striker Andy Keogh, 20, has rejected the club's improved offer of a new contract.
Keogh's current deal expires in the summer but he told BBC Humberside: "It's not what I was looking for. I'll keep my options open."
Meanwhile, midfielder Ian Baraclough, 36, says he is close to agreeing a contract extension at the club.
He said: "The chairman says he wants me on the playing staff next season and that's something I'd like to carry on."
