Scramble for Ellender
Boro would want at least £75,000 for Paul Ellender
Scarborough striker Steve Brodie and defender Paul Ellender look set to leave the club - but their destination remains unclear, BBC Radio York has reported.
The pair were recently transfer-listed in a bid to improve Boro's finances. The club owe about £140,000 to the Inland Revenue and have more than £40,000 VAT payments outstanding. Oxford United have agreed a fee for the pair - but Boston have reportedly made a separate bid for Ellender. A move to Boston would mean that Ellender would not have to move house from Scunthorpe, but it could undermine the proposed deal with Oxford.
